History

Chempur Company established laboratory-production activity in 1988 as: „Laboratory of Refining and Application of Chemical Substances (Laboratorium Uszlachetniania i Zastosowania Substancji Chemicznych)”. The initial period of the company’s activity included the organization of laboratory facilities and the development of our own research methods applicable in the analytical activity of our laboratories. In 1994, the company’s structure was changed, and Chempur with its new owner, Mr. Marcin Piatek, became a production plant manufacturing organic and inorganic chemical reagents on a large scale. The end of the nineties resulted in creation of a new production plant in Krupski Młyn, as well as cooperation with all major wholesalers in the chemical market in Poland. In July 2005 a new branch in Tarnowskie Góry was established, where production of HPLC solvents started . In June 2007 Chempur undertook distribution of well known laboratory glass producer – Simax . Year 2009 brought further development of the Company as reflected in the creation of new production plant and warehouse facilities in the City of Bytom.
